• REPORT: Discuss your research and inventions with our team

We proactively meet researchers on a regular basis and attend relevant seminars and events in order to be updated with the work and activities ongoing at Ci2A. In addition, tools, materials, discoveries and inventions arising from your own or collaborative research must be formally disclosed by submitting a confidential Disclosure Form to the us. 

• PROTECT: Secure the best protection for your inventions

We assess each invention we receive, and when feasible develop a preliminary commercialization strategy that takes into account many different aspects. The feasibility and best way to protect your technology through intellectual property rights is a critical one that involves you directly.

Of note, patents are a major form of protection of results arising from the research done at Ci2A. Since inventiveness may be a matter of discussion. It relies on novelty, which means that no public disclosure in whatever means and form has been made prior to filing a patent. We are happy to help you in this process.

• DEVELOP: Ensure appropriate development of your inventions

Very often a technology is not mature enough for commercialization despite its inherent potential, and further development is needed to build a case that is attractive enough to engage the interest of industry or investors.

We help you to get funding for early developments of your invention, to prove its real application, or to build a prototype of a product or a service that could then be used to solicit investment for a new company, or license the new product or invention.
